GameVidChat is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect minimal data to operate the service:
Message content is encrypted at rest using per-room keys and stored in isolated PlugDB files. When you delete a room, its file is permanently wiped from our servers within 24 hours. We do not maintain backups of deleted rooms. We cannot recover messages for you or for law enforcement because we do not hold decryption keys.
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and remember preferences. See our Cookie Policy. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not sell your data. We may share data only if: 1) You consent, 2) Required for service providers like hosting under strict contracts, or 3) Required by valid legal process under Indian law. Due to our architecture, we can only provide encrypted room files, not decrypted content.
You may request deletion of your account and rooms at any time. You may contact our Grievance Officer to request access to your technical data or raise privacy concerns. We respond within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days as per IT Rules, 2021.
We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. PlugDB's per-room isolation ensures a breach of one room does not compromise others. However, no system is 100% secure. Use strong devices and avoid sharing sensitive information.
GameVidChat is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete associated rooms.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the app. Continued use after updates means you accept the new policy.
