No. Each chat room is stored as a separate encrypted file using Plugdb database. We do not have access to message content or encryption keys. This is why deleting a room is permanent and irreversible.
Absolutely not. GameVidChat uses WebRTC technology for both video calls and two-player game rooms. This means the video, audio, and game data flow directly between your device and the other user's device (peer-to-peer). We do not record, monitor, or store this data on our servers.
We comply with valid legal orders. Due to our room-level encryption architecture, we can only provide the encrypted room file. We do not hold keys to decrypt it. See Privacy Policy for details.
We act on user reports. If a room is reported for illegal activity via Report Abuse, we may delete the entire room. We also work with law enforcement when required by law.
Yes. Deleting a chat room permanently wipes its PlugDB file from our servers. No backups are kept after 24 hours. This cannot be undone.
GameVidChat uses "at-rest encryption" with per-room isolation via PlugDB. This means data is encrypted on our servers and we can't access it in bulk. For maximum security, avoid sharing sensitive info even in private rooms.
